"I believe that spiritual maturity is not the ability to see the extraordinary, but the ability to see the ordinary through God's eyes. Consequently, no matter how wonderful our experience or encounter is with God, the test of it's worth is in the fruit it bears in our lives and the lives of others. "

  1. Um, I was posting this to my own personal blog, and because I use the same sign-in for both, it chose to post over here.

But now I say, "Oh well. It's about time one of us posted a photograph."

  2. Wow- this is a nice representation of what happens in prejudice situations. You know, the group stands aside to let the marginilized guy become more and more drained and finally... he simply slumps over- powerless, defeated.

    Stunning photo. Very deep.

  3. Wow-I just thought it was a toothbrush cup...But along those lines, notice that those who stand aside are hard and empty with nothing of any worth inside. And, what they don't realize, is that after they empty their victim they also no longer have much purpose.

  4. Awesome! I actually hadn't thought of the pic in light of prejudice. I mostly resonated with the down-castedness of the toothpaste guy. I also liked that it was "Sensodyne," because often when you're in that droopy frame of mind, you're also sensitive.
